I gave my Mini a bath and cleaned the engine bay. Ever since the Engine has been running rough. I've replaced the sparkplugs, HT leads, I've had a look at the points and they are nice and shiney and clean. The only thing I could think it could be is the Coil. Any other hints. The nearest Mini Mechanic is about 500km away.

(It sounds like it running on 3 cyl)

Have a look at the inside of the distributor cap , you will find moisture build-up , cure ; wipe with a cloth and spray with a water repelling liquid such as WD 40 . this is normally the problem , also while you have the WD40 in your hand give the coil and connections a spray as well . OH !!!!!!!! did you replace the leads in the correct order ? I know it is basic BUT we all fell for that one .
