My dpf light recently came on and from what I can see online I'm presuming that it's blocked. I've tried encouraging the regeneration by driving in a lower gear for a while down a dual carriage way but hasn't made a difference.

I've seen that fuel additives might be an option but not sure which to go for (if I should use one at all?) otherwise could any one recommend a dpf specialist in Birmingham I can take it to?

fuel additives dont work on fully blocked filter, you can buy the elements for the hdi engine'd ie psa engines like yours is , below link
after fitting filter you will need to reset the ecu and tell it has got a new filter after with a diagnostics tool ,

Thank you for the help Mike, I think that might be a bit above my capability haha.

I found this company online that say they will diagnose the issue and clean it.
