Hi all
I hope I’ve posted this in the correct place ?
I have a 2006 JCW with one little problem and that’s the DSC warning light coming on and staying on. Now if I drive the car normally all is good, even if I go WOT but change gear by 5000 rpm all is good BUT if I go and have some real fun in it and go WOT to red line (6500 rpm in my case cause im running a 20% S/C pulley) the DSC light comes on and stays on and can not be turned off by the switch, the only way to turn it off is to turn the ignition off and remove the key then restart the engine and all is good again until I go mad with her again.
now if under normal driving and I spin a wheel the DSC light will come on briefly as it cuts power then goes back out. It only stays on when you really having fun with the car.
many ideas on what’s going on?
I do have a C110 scanner and it’s not showing any codes at all

Mine did this yesterday too and it's also been remapped as well as a smaller pulley, intercooler etc.

It only just started up due to the condition of the battery yesterday (non use), so once that's fully charged I'll try again to see if it still does it.

Well I’ve just check my batter and it’s reading 12.53v. The last time I drove the car was now 5 hours ago. Al so I checked the voltage at the battery when at idle and it’s at 14,23V is this normal when at idle ?

The car finally throw a code tonight and it a p0108. It only comes on when your high up in the rpm range and it triggers the DSC light to come on. What is this telling me?

that it needs remapping ;O)

you're tripping the MAP sensor limits apparently at ~16/17psi which puts the traction light on, push it harder and the EML can come on with it and won't clear with ignition recycling iirc
