Hi everyone, First post so go gentle. I have a 2006 mini Cooper, its a non runner so playing with it. Now upon First inspection I've noticed in the fuse box under the bonnet next to ecu, in the bottom left of fuse box is an empty socket which looks like a cable should be plugged into. Is something missing or is it a generic box redundant socket on this model.
Thanks in advance. Ben

There are often spare sockets in fuse boxes, dependent on the equipment fitted to the car when built.

Remember, Mini's are notorious for their "pick and mix" options list that meant no two were the same.

thanks for your reply. it looks like its because they used the same fuse box on the r50 as the r56 which had a different ignition coil.
