HI
I am rebuilding a N12B14A engine, remove the valves, springs, crank etc.

I though I was placing them in order.

I put it back together and the crank does not move very tight/solid. Then I looked at the order i had and a photography i took before taking it apart and the image looks different--- YES I have FUCKED `UP. I NEED HELP! My photo does not have enough detail to really help.

Can anyone suggest a way out, help!

Are the inlet and exhaust values different lengths? Have i place the inlet valves in the exhaust hole and visa versa.

I am lost at present and crying in the corner like a little girl!

n12 is gen 2 engine not gen 1 tritec, yes inlets are different from exhaust valves, should really have marked all the valves and springs etc, also now you will need to valve paste the valves back in to their seats, also you must squeeze the cam followers before refitting them, also the head gasket has different sizes from notch 1 to notch 4 ie if have head skimmed you must make up the difference with gasket
