shame i'm down in cornwall, but if you get stuck cant find anyone i know a guy who transports cars all over the country could be picked up brought to me,, at mo i'm a month booked pretty much all the time do a lot of these engines,, and you are going the right way with it do it all off the bat
Engine work in south wales and surrounding areas.
Hi, bought a 1.4 petrol 2008 r56, was wondering if there are any members local to me ( South Wales, between Cardiff and Merthyr Tydfil ) or surrounding areas who do engine work on these. Such as valve stem seals, head gaskets, piston rings etc ?
I know most people will say " take it to your local garage " but in my experience the best work is done by the members of sites like this who know their onions, if not has anyone had any engine work done at a garage that they would recomend ?
Would rather ask first than just roll the dice at a local garage, thanks in advance and hope to be getting my mini on the road in time for my birthday at the end of May.

Will bare you in mind if I get no responses. Would rather get it in with someone like yourself who does a lot of them. Time wise is not a problem as I still have nearly 3 months to my birthday anyway.
