Enough rumors - JCW stuff or coming or not?

Enough-this probably is a stupid question that half of you know, but I must find out for myself. Is the new Works hardware such as the seats, suspension, and brakes going to cross the pond into the US ?(besides the air filter). I have talked to many people and they have said both yes and no.

The new kits haven't even made it onto their website yet, never mind another country! :p

(well the new Cooper kit isn't on there anyway!)
suspension........yes; brakes.......yes; seats.........no.

check out www.motoringfile.com and do a search on "JCW".
and I assume other stuff like the strut brace and jcw door sill plates would make it too correct? I dont see any way door sill plates can void warranty.
Door sills are already available here. They look good on Greta.

Nice
you might be intrested in knowing I placed an order for the engine upgrade kit (10hp)
on october 15th thru my dealer, he said the parts will arrive in two weeks and had a part number for them. I called today to get a confirmation and he was unable to give one. I did recieve an email from cooper works in england a few days back telling me the ecu set up will not be ready for our market untill the begining of next year!
so your guess is as good as mine. I wished I wasn t a horse power junkie, life would be much simpler! mean while I might add a larger TB this weekend more responsive throttle response is always nice....
This kind of confirms what my service advisor told me a couple of weeks ago. I guess January will be the earliest the US will get the 10hp upgrade kit. :(

Nice

Strut brace is coming as are a few other parts in the catalog, like carbon fiber hood scoop and boot handle.

I have the sill plates in my car and they were easy to order and install. I don't have the part number off-hand but I'll see if I can dig it up. You can order them through any U.S. MINI dealer.
