How do I know if the car I brought from new has ESP ? I did spec it, but have had a few slides (mostly round roundabouts), and havent noticed the ESP kicking in.

Should the orange warning triangle (as when Traction control is working) flash when ESP cuts in ?

Any advice appreciated.

ESP? do you mean DSC
Should be a DSC toggle switch

after looking at your gallery and viewing your toggle switch pictures, it looks like you have DSC.

flav, erm.. oh yer...lol.. I'm busy speccing a Fabia vRS (Mini is the wifes car), and getting confused over terms..

Still not sure why it doesnt flash or seem to cut in though, I feel a session in the supermarket carpark is called for.

I'm trying to work out if the DSC/ESP is worth it, as I cant say Ive noticed it cutting in on the mini (and I have had it sliding round a few roundabouts/corners), Im just not sure its worth it.
