Hi folks

Im new here and need some advice please.

My Mini Cooper (12 plate) has the lights warning symbol bleeping at me every time i switch on the ignition. This has happened since hubby changed the number plate bulb which had blown. He's checked ALL my lights and they are working. Even checked the connections and they are fine. He's tried re-setting to try and remove the warning symbol on the dash but its still on! Its driving me mad!! Any suggestions please?
TIA
Elaine.

I had a problem when the car sometimes said it had a blown bulb but all lights worked. It turned out to be one of the front sidelight bulb holders was faulty.
Got one from eBay for about £12 Not been a problem since.

Hi Gary

Thanks for your reply. Hubby said he has put the correct wattage bulb in so i really dont know?

Is there a way of disabling the lighting minder?
I had the same issue, I fitted a bulb which looked ok but was too bright.

I bought two new bulbs which fixed the fault, there is a lighting control module which checks bulbs constantly, I don't think they go wrong.
