Evening All
I have the parts and will be attempting this shortly.
Does anyone have a pdf or link to the BMW Mini fitting instructions for the front mud flaps.
Car is a UK 67 plate 2017 model Cooper Convertible.
Looks like earlier model flaps may have been slightly different??

Thanks for looking.

Hi, I would be interested on what ones you bought and easy to fit?
The instructions may vary slightly depending on the specific model and year, but the general process should be similar.
  1. Start by gathering all the necessary tools and materials. You'll likely need the front mud flaps, screws or bolts, a screwdriver or socket wrench, and possibly some additional mounting hardware provided with the flaps.
  2. Locate the mounting points on the front wheel arches where the mud flaps will attach. These points are usually pre-drilled and may have threaded inserts for the screws or bolts.
  3. Position the mud flaps against the wheel arches, aligning the mounting holes of the flaps with the corresponding holes on the arches. Ensure that the flaps are oriented correctly (left flap on the left side and right flap on the right side).
  4. Insert the screws or bolts through the mounting holes on the mud flaps and into the corresponding holes on the wheel arches. If necessary, use a screwdriver or socket wrench to tighten them securely. Follow any specific instructions provided with the mud flaps regarding torque specifications or additional mounting hardware.
  5. Repeat the process for the other front mud flap on the opposite side of the vehicle.
  6. Once both mud flaps are securely attached, visually inspect them to ensure they are properly aligned and sit flush against the wheel arches.
It's worth noting that while the general installation process remains consistent, there may be minor variations in the specific steps or mounting hardware for different model years or aftermarket mud flaps. If you have genuine BMW Mini mud flaps, they should come with fitting instructions specific to your vehicle model and year. It's best to refer to those instructions for precise guidance. If you don't have the instructions, you can try reaching out to a BMW dealership or searching online for official Mini Cooper forums or owner communities, where you may find someone who can provide the fitting instructions or share their personal experience with installing front mud flaps on a similar model.
Remember to take caution while performing any modifications or installations on your vehicle, and if you're uncertain about any step, it's always advisable to consult a professional or a trusted mechanic for assistance.
