Has anyone got anything concrete from MINI HQ about this? Mine is going back in on Monday for a second attempt to sort out the random alarm firing (not apparently related to rain/wind/sun/temperature - just whilst in garage, and as long as it is past bedtime ...
The dealer said something like - "we can't get new sensors in unless we can demonstrate to MINI UK that there is a fault with one of them" which I guess if fair enough. It's booked in for 2 days, but who knows if the alarm will go off during that time, and if it does it will be when they've gone home! The car keeps a log though doesn't it - of alarm activations and what caused them??
Any info gratefully received. I usually find the dealer is more helpful if I can give them a few pages printed from MINI2
