Hi..i am looking for a specific size( width more like it) for my MC..i want to give it the deep-dish look..european look...giving it a classic FAT mini look
I have considered adding wheel arch wings to the body and also I have made it a point to get 17" rims...
all i need now is a suitable width and also a manufacturer for these wheel arches...thanks

I have the Keskin (from German) wheels, 17 x 8 all around. Could've gone for the 9" on the back. I was trying for the European look.

Check out Keskin's website www.keskin-tuning.com
Fat fat fat

Thanks to both of you for your replies...
What i have planned for my mini is to stick to diameter 17" and have a split width in the rims.an 8 and a 9 in the rear..this is with original wheel arch kits

the wide wheel arch kits are also called Fender Flares Kit Gen II in this website http://www.coopertuning.de/shop_e/index.php

with 17's? would it be different depending on what size tyres should i go for ? low profiles 45 or 40...
currently im using standard springs n shocks n 17 x 7 oz superleggeras.....it rubs wen i have passengers on the back seat.

You're 17" SuperLs rub because of their offset of 35, I have the same wheels but in 18" and they don't rub (I've just got back from a quick drive with a full car) thats becuase the offset is 42 or 45 I think.

Either way, 9" will just rub no matter about the profile, unless you do a major rework of the arches, which will be expensive.

8" with an offset range between 40-49 is the max the MINI can handle without rubbing, if I remember correctly.

Hope that helps ;)
Thanks LBB
ill keep that in mind and check out the shops now.....gots to do some shopping..
looks like your after the same look i went for :D
i have 8" all round and have not had any rubbing - im also using Eibachs too
was contemplating crazy 9" at the back but would have been expensive and probably impractical for day to day use.

good luck with your wheels bud
and make sure you take lots of pics :D
