It depends. My first S the indictor said a service was due at 11,500 miles (never kept the car long enough for it to have one). My current car has its service around 9,500 mile mark.RICO UK said:
With Coopers it may be different again.

The reason I ask is that I got an unofficial oil change at 4k miles and they reset my service indicator(even though i specifically told them not to) so now it's not going to get a service till about 11-12 k but as I said it was only an oil change no a service so in effect I'm now missing a service. So what I need to do is guess a service mileage and book it in.
