Fitting of Retro Gauge Kit

Have just been given the 'official' BMW MINI gauge kit that will reside beneath the switch bank and behind the cigarette lighter and guess what? NO INSTRUCTIONS!!
Has anyone on this forum installed them?
I'm pretty good both technically and mechanically, but could use some guidance on where the oil temp sender unit needs to bolt in and the best place to connect the multitude of leads.
