I recently bought a 2008 R56 Cooper S (hatchback) from my brother-in-law. When I start the car, I get the warning about a light being out. I have gone around the car, and the only light that seems to be out is the left (driver's) fog light when in DRL mode. However if I turn on the fog lights, it comes on. I have tried replacing the bulb, but the H8 bulb is a single filament so there is no effect. I am wondering if this is a software update issue? My brother-in-law was unaware of the issue, so I have no idea how long it has been this way.

Thanks - I hadn't looked at that. I have had the car for less than a month, so I am still learning all of its tricks. It's a great car with a lot of smarts!
