Ignore this .. just found ut it means prob with rear fog light but it looks like it’s working ok. I’ll get the wiring / bulb checked.
Fog Light symbol
On my mini (R56 - 2007) Ive got a fog light symbol that appears when I first start it up - then disappears after a few seconds. It is exactly the same as the usual symbol except has an exclamation mark in it. And whereas the fog light symbols light up on the speedometer (when illuminated) this is on the readout with the clock/temp/handbrake etc. I bought the car secondhand without a manual. Can anyone help ?

Could be a software issue if it's not equipped with fog lights..
