Front parking sensors F55
We just bought an F55 2019 and have had it a month now. It's my wife's car and she asked the local Mini dealership if it's possible to fit OEM front parking sensors. All the techs there have warned against it, saying that the response time of the aftermarket kit has a delay and the result has lead to a number of accidents when carrying out parking manoeuvres. Has anyone any experience with aftermarket parking sensors. I would have thought they would be the same as the factory sensors. Thanks for listening.

We were told that it's an aftermarket kit supplied by mini. It's not the same setup that they supply during assembly at the factory, which seems very strange to me🤔
Looking at the parts diagrams it seems there is an OEM retrofit kit for the rear PDC only. Seems strange.
