Hello all,

I have a Mini Cooper S R56 which starts fine and generally runs well however, after running for a while and then sitting in traffic, my fuel rail pressure just drops right down to the low pressure fuel pump pressure (and causes a CEL) If I turn the engine off and on again it just starts back up fine and the pressure goes back up.

I am putting it in for a check but I am pretty sure they are just going to suggest replacement of the HPFP. But is that the issue? Why is it working fine most of the time then just drops off? What could be the issue if it's not the HPFP and would you suggest for me to check anything or monitor any specific values?
Traces are below.
Thanks in advance!
