Engine Compartment Fusebox

The high current fuses FL1-FL5 are underneath (on the bottom) of the Engine Compartment Fuse panel. High current fuses FL6-FL12 are on the right.

Fuses F1-F10 are on the left but are indicated in Mini wiring diagrams as F01-F010

Engine compartment fusebox
The high current fuses FL1-FL5 are underneath (on the bottom) of the Engine Compartment Fuse panel.

Since I had a few problems finding these on my R53 (wanting, in vain, to check the PAS fuse before I took the dead pump off), I thought I'd try to make it easier for others.

You can just about do it without too much dismantling. First, disconnect the battery. Then remove the fuse panel cover, then the multi-plug at the front of the fusebox, then the 8mm screw at each end, and the 10mm screw holding the cable from the battery:

if you then fiddle the battery cable out of the way, there is just enough slack in the other wires to tilt the fusebox down at its front end, to reveal the panel guarding the big fuses, which is located at the rearmost end of the fusebox:

To reveal this panel (looking from the bulkhead forwards):

The cover prises off with a small screwdriver. The fuses themselves are then revealed, and can be removed with a Torx 25 bit (2 screws each):

Just hope you find one blown, after all this trouble. Not that I did

Sorry to open this thread up again, but I can't locate the fuse for the 12v power (cigarette lighter) in my '60 Cooper D. I've attached a photo of the fuse diagram/layout from the driver's side footwell. Any ideas?

Previous posts have indicated F32 but I can't tell what the diagram shows (parking sensor?!). I have checked the engine bay fuse box, but again, there doesn't appear to be a related fuse in there.

I'd be grateful if anyone can help!

Relays Note:
Some relays in fuse/relay listing above are situated 'behind' the passenger compartment fuse panel.
To access these relays open the passenger door (RHD) and partially remove the rubber door sealing gasket that runs along the door frame - where it changes direction from the door sill to the vertical part of the door frame. Remove a single plastic push fit holder to the upper right of the fuse box access lid. Use some gentle force to push back the plastic kick plate around the fuse box. Standing outside the passenger side of the door looking in as you push the plastic kick plate back you will see various relays.

Relay K13 (rear demister)...

I'm really struggling to find the physical location of K13 on my R56 Dooper. Following mab01uk's advice on how to access, I have looked all around the passenger side JBE but I have not been able to pull it away from the metal car frame and certainly cannot see anything behind it.

Does anyone have any specific advice on finding this Relay (maybe a photo)?

does anyone know if there's a fuse that's between the ignition and the starter motor as my starter don't work from the ignition switch but works from a direct feed on the solenoid

K42 Horn relay / Behind Passenger compartment fusebox.

Remove the fusebox itself behind side panel in footwell and the relay should be on the backside of the fuse panel board.
Similar to washer relays shown here perhaps?
