We've had our 2010 Mini Countryman Cooper S ALL4 (petrol, automatic) for 5 months now, and recently I've noticed a whining noise, mainly in lower gears, which has steadily got louder. There is no effect on transmission, its working well, is there anything particular I need to look at? Its done 90,000 kms, recent oil change (if that counts for anything), but nothing done since the last service visit, 3 months ago.
