General tips for a new 2013 Countryman ALL4 owner?

Hey gang, I’m brand new to Mini ownership and looking for any tips/pointers. It’s a 2013 Mini Cooper S Countryman ALL4 with a manual transmission. It has 96,000 km. I have a bunch of questions. Anyone wanna help a newbie out?

1. I’ve read that there’s variance in engines for this year/model. Any idea which engine I have? I attached some pics.

2. Any cheap and easy things I can upgrade/change to increase the lifespan and/or performance of my vehicle? Or available settings etc I should use that I may not be aware of?

3. Do I need to upgrade my computer (see attached photo)? What are the benefits of new versions?

4. I read somewhere something about needing to replace batteries in some kind of sensors in my age/mileage range. Any idea what those sensors are? Is it an easy DIY thing?

5. Any tips as far as roof racks go? Looking for an affordable sturdy aerodynamic option for getting cross bars on the rails on my roof. Any recommendations (Thule, Yakima, etc?)

I think that’s it. Thanks in advance for any tips.

The first generation Countryman was primarily built in Graz, Austria under contract by Magna Steyr, making it the first of the BMW era Minis to be manufactured entirely outside the UK.
In 2013, assembly of the Countryman was expanded to three international locations: from April 2013 at BMW's plant near Chennai, India, specifically for the Indian market from June 2013 at the BMW Group Malaysia Assembly Plant in Kulim, Kedah, and at the BMW Manufacturing Thailand plant in Rayong from August 2013.
In 2012, worldwide sales of Countryman reached 102,000 units, 21,012 of which were sold in the US. In March 2013, the 250,000th Countryman was produced at Magna Steyr's Graz plant.
Since November 2016 the second generation Countryman will only be assembled at VDL Nedcar in Born, the Netherlands.
