Hey gang, I’m brand new to Mini ownership and looking for any tips/pointers. It’s a 2013 Mini Cooper S Countryman ALL4 with a manual transmission. It has 96,000 km. I have a bunch of questions. Anyone wanna help a newbie out?
1. I’ve read that there’s variance in engines for this year/model. Any idea which engine I have? I attached some pics.
2. Any cheap and easy things I can upgrade/change to increase the lifespan and/or performance of my vehicle? Or available settings etc I should use that I may not be aware of?
3. Do I need to upgrade my computer (see attached photo)? What are the benefits of new versions?
4. I read somewhere something about needing to replace batteries in some kind of sensors in my age/mileage range. Any idea what those sensors are? Is it an easy DIY thing?
5. Any tips as far as roof racks go? Looking for an affordable sturdy aerodynamic option for getting cross bars on the rails on my roof. Any recommendations (Thule, Yakima, etc?)
I think that’s it. Thanks in advance for any tips.
