the gp has a larger intercooler and a mapped ecu.

I would advise;
* GRS intercooler
* 1320 CAMS
* Exhaust manifold and sports cat
* Remove the kink from your exhaust
* Clutch and light flighwheel
* ITG air filter
* Ensure the bypass valve is closing
* RMM cylinder head
* 2.0 big bore and stroked engine conversion

I would advise you utilise the search facility though as this is a common covered topic

Firstly.... get it dyno'd and compression tested so you atleast have a baseline before you start playing.

Secondly ask yourself a couple of questions:

1) how far do I want to go?
2) how much do I want to spend?
3) do I want more torque or hp?

There is more than one way to achieve great results but with different costs and often effect how far you can go.

The cheapest route is more boost via smaller pulley and go from there or the expensive route of more power per PSI of boost. e.g. Cam and big valve head.

Mines setup for torque but as my revs rise it drops off so my HP isnt amazing at only 225hp. Bigger intercooler than stock and exhaust manifold will no doubt sort that but against my future needs :)

Cough Cough!!

Your 2004 JCW may NOT have the exhaust restriction.
You need to know if your cars is running right before adding parts.

The GP has a larger intercooler than the stock item.

So you could consider a cooler.

The shame about the JCW package, is in my opinion you are paying 3.5k for a little bit of everything being modified, and for big power you need to replace each bit.

Some might suggest adding an enlarged crank pulley to get closer to a 15-17% total reduction, but if it was me I'd get rid of the 11% JCW and get a 17% on along with a GRS intercooler.

Then go for a GTT Manifold, (this also sounds amazing with the JCW exhaust)

Then cams and ecu tune.
