Hey, what would be the best way to get rid of a lot of wieght from the mini cooper s? Its just too heavy for me and I want to lighten it up. Any advice would be nice. Thanks.

Take out all the carpets. They weigh a ton.

Cut out all the wiring you dint need.

I wouldn't recommend carbon fibre on a road car. In a crash the parts shatter into tiny sharp pieces travelling at high speed.

Stock seats are heavy, mostly due to airbags. Go for some racing buckets if you don't mind loosing the safety.

I'll summarize, biggest weigth loss for the money.
Back seat out, AC out, carpets out, sound deadening out

If you want to spend some more money:
light bucket seats, lighter alloys.

If you still have money left:
Carbon hood and back door.

Hardcore:
Stereo out, aluminium GP trailing arms

Then go on a diet and get petrol twice the amount of time (not more than half full) :)
