Glad ro be back!

I used to own a 2004 Cooper S MC40. Bought it new and sold it 4 years later due to a long distance move. I truly wish I had kept it. I picked up a 2009 S last week with 97k miles. It's in very good condition and has been well maintained. Going to need some preventive engine maintenence but I budgeted that in. Too much fun to drive!

Yep! This Mini has no mods except for a K&N panel filter in the stock air box. Won't stay that way for long!

just remember the pcv and inlet air pressures are all monitored by the cars ecu so if remove something and alter what it expects to see it will trow up plausibility codes,, last one i played with had the self check files removed for that will appear on a modified emissions set car standard car, ie the prince engine won loads of awards for power to size and more for emissions and the way the engine burns off nox etc, when mapping and altering these systems thats are so strict on the working parameters the ecu wants to see its needed to remove some of the fault codes files so never will trow a code when car is running without them as such, below link worth a call about it all ask for john top bloke, ask him about removing breathers and pcv etc, one thing he will say if timing chain not been done in last 60k its a must do on a mapped car, its also possible to send the ecu and have the files and map loaded on the ecu then plug it in running hot and cold a few times through the rev band then its all sorted as takes a few runs to settle and relearn the way you drive, cheapest way to get it done,
