Has anyone had some number-plates made up on the internet and been really happy with them?

I have a private-plate and am in the process of transferring it onto my recently bought Mini.

I can’t say I’ve been amazingly happy with the quality of any of the plates I’ve had made up over the last few years.

Has anyone had some made up and been really pleased with the quality and could recommend the manufacturer?

Thanks, Mark.

Try Tippers Vintage Plates, although they speacialise in classic car plates they do advertise modern plates on their website. I've used them for classic car plates before and the qualuity was certainly excellent so I would imagine that their modern plates would also be good.

I have used fancyplates.com before and thought they were excellent, no issues with water ingress or discolouration

Just received my plates from fancyplates, first appearances are good, the edges are trimmed off nicely, the plates themselves came with protective sticky film over them to stop scratches and came posted in a strong padded envelope.

I’ve had plates come in the past with no protection, so by the time they’ve come through the post system have been scratched or the ends chipped because the envelope was useless.

Obviously its early days with regards longevity, but from first impressions would use and recommend them again.

Thanks for the recommendation.

Make sure you get acryllic ones. They'll cost more, but generally they last a lot longer.
