Just got the Eagle F1 A/S tires (205/45/17) fitted to my 2005 Cooper S. Wow, what a difference. I'd gone through two sets of the Eagle runflats (in less than 40,000 miles) and decided to make the switch to conventional rubber. It's almost eery how much quieter the car has gotten, and my girlfriend has finally stopped complaining about the crashing ride.

Initial Turn-in is maybe a hair slower than the runflats, but after that the grip is great. I just figured I'd post since most of the reviews I found on the forums are of the GSD3s, which aren't an option for those of us in the northern parts of the world (minnesota) who choose not to do separate snow tires.

By the Eagle F1 A/S do you mean the Asymmetric's? :

If so I thought these were set to replace the GSD3's anyway
