Well, after three weeks of ownership I'm still loving the GP:biggrin:
However, it has been into the dealer twice already for a few things to be sorted.
What they haven't been able to do anything about is a grating sound coming from the rear brakes.
It only happens just before I come to a stop. Dealer said they couldn't find anything wrong with the brakes. I wondered if it might have anything to do with only having done 5,500 miles from new in 2 years and now it's being used everyday.
Or maybe it's because all the sound deadening material's been removed:hmph:
Anybody had anything like this?
Might get an independent mini specialist to check them out - I don't trust dealers to do things properly:aargh:

Does the car sit around a lot? I used to find the discs got a coating of rust very quickly.

Monday to Friday it has two 40-minute journeys each day, some of it stop-start. The rest of the day it's sat at work between 8am and 4pm. I do notice a rusty colour on the discs straight after washing, but that goes with a quick spin.
I guess with it being such a low mileage car it may have been sat around more with previous owner.
Just wondered if it was part and parcel of GP ownership:hmph:
