allo folks :D

well we have now officially finished all of our main fundraising events for this years Italian Job, just 7 weeks before we set off for the start in Imola :D

as his contribution to our sponsorship, Kev (KillerByte) kindly offered to set up a website for us, which will contain some information about Teams 50 & 51, information about the actual event itself, a list of sponsors etc, as well as a blog for us to update while we are away :D my cousin came up with some logo ideas for us and Kev has now set up the website - it's still missing some content, but the majority of it is now live and we are extremely chuffed with it. A massive thanks to Kev for setting it up for us and the ongoing work with it, and to my cousin Steve for all the work he did with the logo :)

please click on the logo below to visit the site:

here's a taster of just some of the events we have also attended throughout the year - both teams have had fantastic fun and had amazing support from companies, event organisers inviting us along to things, and everyone that has donated towards our targets, as well as those that have just helped us out at events...... thank you! :D

starting at the beginning.....

Top Gear

A client event hosted by one of Wiz's sponsors

A run to Goodwood organised by myself

Gunwharf Quays Italian Job event, followed by the Mile of Mini's attempt (which was also fancy dress )

A rolling road day organised by Wiz and Jim

next we were invited along to a food festival at Gunwharf Quays, to raise awareness of The Italian Job

next we attended our first motorshow - Croydon Motorshow, where we also met Mike Brewer

Jo & I attended the Dales run, which Nicky very kindly offered to donate the proceeds of to our fundraising

then, and quite possibly the most interesting if not dangerous and nail biting, we visited Croydon for a little bit of a fun photoshoot :D

the next event we attended was our second motorshow - Shoreham Airport Motorshow (despite the heavy winds on the Saturday night destroying part of the motorshow, we managed to get our marquee back up, although slightly buckled!), which Mike Brewer was hosting again

our last and most recent event, last Bank Holiday Monday was the Worthing Rotary Club Carnival Procession. Big thanks to the Red Bull girls that came along and helped out ;)

We also paid a trip to KidsOut recently as well as a few other events too. As you can see, we have had a busy 9 months, and this hopefully gives everyone an insight into some of the things we get up to throughout the year and proves that your sponsorship doesn't actually pay for us to have a holiday, it does all go to charity ;):) there are a few bits and pieces over the next couple of weeks but that's it now really, so it's time to relax until we leave :D if anyone would like to contribute towards our target, please click on the link for Team 50 or 51 on the website, we really appreciate any help - thank you :)

Ian has said most of it already.
It's been an exhausting few months with lots of events and running about.

Thank you to all the businesses that have sponsored us and all the friends who have given us a donation in lieu of some fun and games.

RIGHT THAT'S IT FOR EVENTS THIS YEAR,,,,NEXT YEAR IS TAKING SHAPE NOW ;)

So if you have had a laugh with us or at us please leave us a donation to help us reach that magic £1,500

thanks Wiz & Jim

Thanks guys. :D The blog (with most of the information provided in this thread) is due to go live either tomorrow or Monday. :)

Then it's over to Teams 50 and 51 to keep the blog up to date as they head to Italy to do the job itself. :D

Any feedback/suggestions for the website is greatly appreciated.

thanks Chloe :D it's obviously not just us but all the teams that take part every single year and all the people and companies that sponsor them too, without those it wouldn't happen :)
