Hi,

has anyone installed the Hartge Coilovers, or heard of anyone do so? I'm trying to get some first hand information on the setup from MINI drivers. Their reputation with BMWs is pretty good, but it doesn't seem to be very well known among the MINI crew.

Here's a littel teaser piccie ( borrowed from www.newmini-technik.de  )

If it is like our H&R coil over system, it should be pretty straight forward and self expainatory. you will reuse your orrigonal strut tower mounts and hardware.
you can get this system at 800-648-7278 X 221

They look like stickered up FK Automotives, they're German and use Koni shocks. I have them on my Clio and they are rather good. I have non-damping adjustable and they cost £840, they have about 4 variants, but the top variant is exclusive for high performance cars.

This suspension was specially developed by Hartge, and as far as I know it´s made in England.

I´ve had this in my MTH/Hitec One for a week now, and it´s great :)
If you´re looking for something which is both more comfortable and better around corners than the "plus" suspension, then go for Hartge.

Cheers,

Alex
