Hey Gang-
I’ve got a 2014 JCW Countryman, and I can’t seem to figure out a way to turn my headlights off when the car is on. They turn off just fine after I turn the car off and lock it. No problems there.

But when I am parked, for example, and want to turn my headlights off by turning the headlight control stick to the “off” position, the headlights remain on. The dashboard lights turn off fine, but the headlights simply won’t.

Has anyone else run into this issue?

Sounds like you have DRL mode enabled. If your is like mine, it doesn't have real DRLs so you have the option to use the headlights instead. The headlights go into a kind of double dip setting.
You can disable it, I did, but I can't remember how!

While I would not expect the headlights to remain on, the driving/parking lights, yeah.

If you can control this feature think it would be found in something called Exterior Lights configuration.

Has the option for headlights on as daytime running lights been enabled ?
