mini heater core

hi everyone.

just tried to reuse clamps and heat core from a mini cooper s.

jokes on me. this bmw mini is a poor excuse for engineering. its put together like a lego kit. All the electrical connections are different as you work on the car. one piece blocks another and the heater core connections are lame. they changed from heater hose to aluminium clampy things for what reason.

this car is designed to keep dealerships in work and parts suppliers in business.

tomorrow instead of driving it I will have to see if I can get a heater core kit . I should take it all apart and rebuild it with traditional reliable fitments. German engineering? L>

the myth of german engineering is just that a myth! But in my opinion minis are put together quite well.

if ya want a challenge try replacing a heater core on a honda jazz.
