Heater only blowing warm air out vents

My daughters 2009 convertible won’t blow cool air out of the vents. Aircon is working but isn’t cooling either although checked and re-gassed last year.
Can the temperature dial come adrift somehow?
Cheers

First and simple thing to check would be the cabin and air filters are clean and free from debris.

Thanks. It’s getting a full service shortly anyway. Went for a drive earlier and the vents do blow out cool air, but aircon doesn’t make a difference, although the pump is working.
Will get this checked out as was tested and re-gassed last year.
first off need to check when aircon is switched on the under bonnet radiator fan should cut in within a few minutes while aircon is on, if dont then maybe fan resistor or fan might me faulty this will stop aircon from working as the condenser on front of car wont cool enough to condense the gas to a pumpable solution as such, also check the outside temp sensor is working right as if faulty and registering -40 it will prevent aircon from running. engine running aircon on on dash look at the pump see if engaged, the heater box on gen 2 cars have a constant heater rad in them ie the hot water is never switched off its controlled by steppa motors that open and close flaps to allow air flow, if these fail it can prevent aircon as system wont do both things at same time,, to gain access to these its under the dash, i'm nearly 6ft tall and 18 stone and i do my best to swerve replacing the motors on air box nasty job
