Hi, Emma here.
I'm new to all this "internet forum" thing, so excuse my ignorance.
A friend is showing me around the forum, and told me to introduce myself.
(So HELLO from Mike in Madeira, Portugal - Emmas IT and mechanical support!)
I'm really looking for some help to keep my 2006 Mini Cooper S going without costing a fortune!!!
My beloved orange Cooper S is having some trouble with the electronic gremlins.
My current mechanic has not been able to pin down the trouble other than describing it a nebulous "computer problem" and is quoting a $2,000 repair bill!!!
My friend in Madeira' Portugal works on cars like this, and suggests that a nebulous problem like mine is most likely a wiring harness problem (bad earthing etc,.).
I was wondering if anyone can recommend a mechanic/engineer/fault finding person based in or near Poland, Ohio who knows these cars and doesn't cost an arm and a leg!!!
Thanks you in advance!
Emma (with some help from Mike!!!)
