Hi, I have R60 Countryman S All4, and I have mysterious oil leak. First suspect was valve gasket, but it's leaking still after the change.

I went to two dealership and independent MINI mechanic and they all say only leak they can see is from top of the engine. So now I'll change entire valve cover.

My question is are there any more gaskets worth replacing while doing valve cover?

Oil is visible from front of oil pan.

Thanks!

common is vanos oil solenoid at front of engine seep ie next to dipstick with one wire coming off it, the vacum pump on side of head passengers side as o-ring rubber those leak, if have a slight air leak on turbo pressure side of pipe work that can leak oil from vapour from pcv breather system, maybe turbo seals on a 80k plus mileage car, the oil feed pipe to turbo another common one with age,
best way is add some ultra violet dye to engine oil and take for a run and use specail torch to find where oil leaks from works well,
