Help needed

Hi all I’m new on here and have joined as I’m looking at buying a Mini Cooper which will be my first one I’m looking At 03 - 05 plates could you help me with pointers in what problems to look out for as I’m okay on the general points but not sure what’s these model are prone to mainly looking at a 1.6 petrol any help would be appreciated thanks all regards mark
