Hi all,

It's been a while since I've been on the forum, but that's mostly cos my Mini (touch wood) has been nothing short of great recently, and running so well that I have been caught speeding in her.

Anyway, I am getting a company car in October through work and therefore have no reason to keep my 2004 54 plate Dark Silver Mini Cooper S Cabrio.

I have it up in the classifieds and on Auto Trader, and for 3 weeks have reduced the price to the point where I would not accept any less than a close offer to £11,250 as failing that I will keep her, but get very little use out of the car which would be a shame, when a buyer would get so much enjoyment out of it.

So to my point, the car is here: http://www.mini2.com/classifieds/showproduct.php/product/3883/cat/3 but my question is this:

Does anyone know a garage / used Mini specialist who would be interested in potentially buying my car?

I'm in the North West of England

Any help / pointers etc greatly appreciated :)

Not any help really, but I'd say you're unlikely to get anywhere near the price you want from a dealer.

You're far better just keep reducing the price to private buyers until you get a bite.

yeah you're right...

just had a chat with a Mini Trader, he recommends I put it at £10,995 and see how close people can get to that - then make a decision.

Just seems like I've lost so much on it...

Can't put a price on the smiles per miles though!! :D

You may as well keep it really.
It will cost you a lot more in six months time when you realise you can't live without it and have to buy another!
Trust me, I learnt the hard way.

Shame that fella, just paid similar amount for a June 2005 model. If I'd've seen yours first I think I would have had it!!

There is mini only dealer in Glossop called Allmini

I'm sure you will find a few twisty's on the way??

Don't think the dealer will give you what you want though - maybe worth a call. (he offered me £7500 for a Freelander when BMW only offered me £5500!)

Good Luck

:) i know what you mean - i'm going to put it in auto trader for £10,995 this week, give it a week and then opt to keep it. i can't let a car go that has been looked after the way i have over the last 18 months/2 years for less than this final asking price.
