I would jack up the car and install battery jumper cables to the starter where the heavy power cable attaches to the starter. The negative can clamp anywhere on the engine. See if this can give enough power to use the key remote to unlock the door.

Here is my dilemma:
I have a dead batt.
I have a driver side door mechanism that is inoperable. This side also is the only side with a key hole.
I can't open the doors.
Any ideas on how to get into my car without smashing the window?
