Welcome. I have an R50 and R56 myself. Not worked on cars much for a few years but picked up the R50 Cooper last year and replaced the lower control arm bushings and ball joints and this re-whetted my appetite for mechanical DIY and this year I picked up an R56 as a none-runner and ended up replacing the timing-chain, cylinder head and a few other bits and pieces. Still a to-do list.....starting with the brake lines on the R50 next week.
