Hi - i am sure this is obvious, but do all First Gen Minis have Generation 1 CVT gearboxes or do some have the later Generation 2 CVT's ?

Mine is an April 2006 model, so is in the year when it changed to G2

R52 MC has the CVT through 2007.
R52 MCS has the much better Aisin
auto transmission.
Gen 2 R57 2008+ has an Aisin for both models
