How Do You Install Chrome Shark Grill Repeaters?

Hi All,

Simple question:

How easy are they to install & How do you remove the originals? Is it just a case of prizing them off? Are their any problems I could come across?

Cheers ppl

Dave, :)

Very easy - 5 to 10 minutes

Just be careful when fitting the clips of the new grills in place - they can break quite easily. Tiny bit(not much) of lubricant/grease might help ease it in

Thanks, So I presume I was right about having to prize the existing ones off? How difficult is that bit? are they in quite tight?
Sorry should have explained-

Open the bonnet. from inside, put your hand where the side vent is and theres a clip at the front of the original vent. Push it and it will come out.
Unscew and unclip the original bulb and replace vent the way it came out. Like I said be careful not to snap the end. you'll know which end I mean when you look at the back of the vent.

No - Pushing originals out is easy, the difficult bit can be puting the new ones in-there just a bit stiff- You might be lucky. I had a problem putting the first one in but the second one was a doddle.

I only put mine in 2/3 weeks ago.

Cheers for the Advice fella

I know what 2 expect now!

Cheers again,

Dave, ;)
The trick is... when you push the new ones in hold the metal bit of the mini at the back of the pin, otherwise when you push the new ones it just pushes the lug it is locating into back and wont seat properly, so at the same time as you push new ones in, push back from the back!
