How many miles do you get per full tank of derv?

I get around the 400 mark per full tank, mainly city driving but do hit the Dual carriageways often too.

Feel free to add comments re miles you get.

I should have added where you normally fill up too.

340 views yet only 5 have voted? Come on people!

Should anything else be added to the poll? I know the weather temp can make a difference too and different fuels

Got a 2009 Clubman D with the PSA engine. Done 110,000km.

I have observed the following:

1. Tire pressure is critical.

2. Also, winter vs. summer tires make a large difference.

3. As the car has accumulated km's, the fuel consumption has fallen markedly (was about 5.2l/km and started to fall around 55,000km to the current 4.5km/L consumption I get.

4. Long, reasonably flat roads with no stop and go cause consumption to plummet vastly increasing mileage.

5. The PSA engine consumes considerably less than the BMW diesel introduced in 2010

I have got well over 600, but you have to drive with one eye on the real-time MPG and cover the ground 'intelligently' learning how to make progress the most economically. Seems to have improved efficiency in the last 20,000 miles. Mine has now done 88,000 and I do not have stop-start installed.

Driving style changes a lot, obviously. Easing off gas earlier than normal ready to brake saves a good amount of fuel. I average around 380-420 to a full tank which isnt too bad especially when I refuel its around the 33-35L.

My car has cover 28k, I have stop start but switch it off as soon as I start the engine

I don't see any real difference in the statistics on spritmonitor.de:

Code:
	OneD	Dooper
2013	57	53
2012	54	52
2011	58	49
2010	54	53
2009	54	52
2008 52
2007 52
Avg	55	52

Just got my first tank over 1000km: 1017km (631 miles) to be exact! That's 74 MPG(uk). :)

Mostly 35km motorway runs with cruise control set between 95-115km/h (60-70mph). Warm weather, but hardly any air con.

Unmodified 2010 MINI One D with PSA engine

500+ miles before I hit the two red lights / reserve, yielding a miserly 83 mpg with super-market diesel.
However, I do drive like a nervous granny with an arthritic right foot. Also, 3/4 of my daily drive is on the M56.
I would recommend well inflated tyres and branded fancy diesel every now and again - 300 miles driven with 7 fuel lights still showing - computer says 90 mpg average.
