...is the supercharger on a Works-equipped MCS?

Or is it just the case that a smaller pulley is used?

I ask as the JCG website mentions using a smaller pulley on the Works kit, but not a larger supercharger...

The pulley size is only difference.

Prior to July 2004 builds there was also a difference between the coating on the vanes of the supercharger. Now there is not ... a 5th generation Eaton supercharger is used for both stock and JCW.

Wow - £3800 (fitted) for a cylinder head*, exhaust, air-intake, injectors and remap... :eek:

* Assuming there is actually any difference... :rolleyes:

Do you know if is 15%, or if it smaller? it seems that every shop that has MCS part has a 15% pulley. I was holding out on the pullley till a got a larger IC, but if the factory can run the same spec... :dark:

Pulley sizes ...

OEM = 2.58"
JCW = 2.21" = 14.34%
15% = 2.19" = 15.12%
17% = 2.14" = 17.06%
19% = 2.07" = 19.77% :eek:
