friend has an 06 convertible the Heated rear window doesn't work
the light comes on in the switch
the fuse is ok
any ideas re relays etc

Check to see that the screen printed defroster circuit (this is a sintered silver network) has not been scratched to create an open circuit. If so, a repair kit can be purchased where one paints silver conductor to close the circuit. This can be tedious. Check to see if the connector between the screen printed defroster circuit and the wires has been disconnected. If you disconnect you can use a volt meter to see if current is getting this far. If not, it could be a relay.
