I put a depost on an Indi Blue ...July Delivery!!! Yipeee

Well ... went to Hassel MINI in LI, NY today and put a deposit on an Indi Blue / White with Sports and Premium Package and Chrome Accents. $21,120!!! ...oh yeah and CVT!

The dealership is great, got it at MSRP and am looking at a July delivery. Not freaking bad! The line is long and I could have gotten an S by September but decided on the Cooper beacuse of the CVT.

If you are in the Tri-State Area ...go to Hassel and talk to AnnaLisa! She's real cool and digs the car a lot not to mention ... hangs out his forum. HI!!!

What do I do until I get the car?

Congrats on the Indi Blue! Awesome Colour! Our Dealer's got one on 17's! Looks the dogs! As for CVT, well wouldn't of been my choice but hey your getting it not me!

Congratulations on that Aurel. Someone on roadfly wrote about his CVT-equipped MINI and was quite complimentary about it, although it does take a bit of getting used to compared to a standard automatic.

Here's one thing you can do while you wait: plan a few weekend road trips that have some nice twisty pavement and preferably scenery to match. I think I already have a few ideas of my own in mind

mac OS X kicks butt. Unfortunately, I just got accustomed to OS 9 when it came out, so haven't changed yet. Still want it though.

Congratulations!

I also placed an order at Hassel a couple of weeks ago; Coopr S, Indi Blue. I have to agree that the experience there was good. No double talk, no mandatory extras, MSRP.

They still haven't given me a production date though. How long before you found out your date?

It most certainly does. I have been using it for over a year now. The latest versions are very good. Give it a try. You will never go back to OS 9 once you start.

I was told the order will be placed next month for July delivery ... this is all I was told at the moment. They have 30 allocated per month.

Will see what happens soon ...

Sounds similar to what they told me. They said IF they could get a June production slot it could be delivered by July/August. No word yet on whether they got a slot or not. I am going back with a friend who wants to test drive this week and I'll ask then if they have a slot yet. Good luck in yours.
