Hi,

I have just got an Icelink kit and am going to attempt to fit it this weekend. I have read all the instructions and all seems (fairly) straightforward, but I have noticed that the top screw for the drivers side silver beam which needs to be taken out is obscured. I have read that all you need to do is pull down and it will just unclip but I have tried this and it doesn't seem to work (I also don't want 2 pull 2 hard in case I break something!!!).

Is this correct or do I need to unscrew anything beforehand?

You need to pull quite hard - the knee bolster is secured at the top by 2 metal pop clips 1 either side of the steering column, they can be bloody tight - get the inside of the car warm - so the plastic isn't so brittle
