It is very sad for me to write this, but my father Edward, infamously known as MaxaMini has passed away. We are surrounded by friends and family, but deeply saddened by the sudden and unexpected loss of my father. He was an incredible man, a wonderful husband, and an unparalleled father. Lastly, he was a devoted Mini owner. You all were very important to him, and the last years of his life were filled with many great adventures with many of you. He was so proud to be amongst your ranks and he was truly blessed with many fond memories of his time with you all. He will be missed but forever remembered. God Bless you all. As we get more details I will post them here. Thank you all for your friendship and support.

i want to thank all of those who will miss him and I beleive that in my heart a little bit of him resides in all of you. Also evry day that you guys drive your mini's drive in the manner that he would drive but without crashing your beloved mini's. Ed is loved and sorry that he will not be a part of your mini rally's. But beleive me in spirit he will be the one who will egg you on to continue to drive faster take chances and embrace life before it passes you bye, IN LOVING MEMEORY, HIS SON DAN!

thanx for the support of everyone, This is his son Dan and would like to help you out with info you need, Currently there is no date for services but I will post with any info. I am Ed's sister Laurie and I live in Florida. I have spent hours today reading this messages through tears and laughter. Thank you all so much for your support. This is all such a shock. Ed will be missed by so many who loved him and he loved so much. This next week with be a roller coaster as we gather in Ct to say goodbye and then change gears to celebrate Kate's wedding on Friday. At least we will all be together. And yes Monday is his birthday. I have learned so much from Ed over the years on what makes a great marriage and a terrifc family. Mart is the best in the world and Luke, Kate, Dan, Bonnie and Gregg I love you guys with all my heart. I wish I were with you in Ct right now. He loved his family, extended family and friends. He had his priorities right. Family and friends first. I can remember being at the house, Bert was in town on business and we sat around and blew up Marshmellow Peeps in the microwave, tried to burn them with a match and also froze them. Marshmellow Peeps are a weakness of Mart's. We laughed so hard.. hard to tell who were the adults and who were the kids.

Ed loved his Mini and loved to golf and fish. He and my husband John went fishing together whenever they were in the same town. So sorry that the fishing trip for Friday Morning won't be taking place

This a picture taken from a fishing trip in March in Tampa. Ed told John he was going to catch the biggest fish on the boat before they had to turn around and head into shore. So on his last cast... Ed caught this Grouper which was the largest fish.

They came back to shore and met Mart and I for lunch... Ed didn't want to pay for a Grouper sandwich when he knew the size of the fish he had just caught.

Ed, I love you and miss you Brother. Love your sister Laurie
