Inspection 2 - BMW or Independant Specialist?
In about 1000 miles I'm due the Inspection2 service and I'm in 2 minds as to who I should use, BMW or one of our MINI Specialists.
I've owned the car from new and always had it serviced by BMW/MINI with one eye looking at the future resale/trade in believing if I went back to BMW/MINI I could trade it in as a "Cherished" car against a new/newer MINI.
The thing is 7 years on and I still own my MINI with no plans to sell just yet plus with all the mods I've carried out to engine, brakes, suspension, exhaust etc, would BMW/MINI be interested in a part ex that has been modified?
So what would you do? BMW/MINI or specialists like Lohen, ThinkMINI, ModnMINI?
