I picked up Pepper yesterday afternoon at Morristown MINI. I've attached some candid shots for you to admire. If Chili Red is the fastest color, than all Chili Red must be even faster, right?
After going through the agonies of ordering, selecting which options I wanted, congratulating myself on waiting for the Limited Slip, and settling in for the long wait for delivery, I caved into my baser instincts and grabbed Pepper off the lot. Pepper had just arrived at the dealer, wasn't nearly as loaded as my dream car, but ultimately much cheaper, and more important, HERE. Cheap and easy is how I like 'em. I went back to the dealer and had the stripes put on the bonnet today. Looking forward to finishing the breakin period so I can let that supercharger breathe.
Happy Motoring....

Yep, be nice in the break in, and then Just Drive!

I have a CR/W, that CR/CR is RED!

Good call on the black stripes--what kind of wheels did you get?

Also, I take it you're from Jersey--I've never seen another MINI there at the Shore and people flip out over mine when I visit. You should definitely do the beach in the summer.
I have never seen a Mini that is all red! It is really nice!!!

Breakin: yes, I will (try to) be good; that little engine seems to want to wind out, esp. in the lower gears. Part of me says what the heck, its just a lease.

Thanks on the stripes, I was debating leaving it a clean look, but good sense prevailed. I have the stock 16' silver wheels; I'm thinking about going w/ white wheels which would be really sharp with the all red.

I live and work in Morris County, drive by the dealer every morning and evening, so I think that there are MINIs everywhere. Nobody has flashed their lights or waved yet, though.
Did you get red dash and think r99 in anthracite would be top notch to finish

Awesome color combo/spec'd MINI indeed!

We just delivered a CR/CR MCS yesterday that was ordered with the CR Interior panels and the new Black Leather/Red Octagon Cloth interior. SWEEEET! I am not a fan of red cars, but this was spectacular. Especially with the chrome interior trim. Wish I had brought my camera!

Congrats on Pepper!

I was at Morristown MINI yesterday!

I really love the people there; everyone is very helpful. I was checking on the status of my pepper white/ black roof Cooper and found out I would be getting it a lot earlier than I expected. Yay!

Your car is lovely. Best of luck with it.

How nice for you! I couldn't wait for the one I ordered special. Your MINI sounds very elegant. Be sure to post some pictures that we can admire. Enjoy!
Thank you, ultimated. Have a wonderful holiday with your Pepper.

The dash indeed is anthracite, with the grey cloth seats (heated, so nice, ahh.....). If only they made black enameled wheels.
with the name "pepper" i was expecting a pepper white mini. car looks good though. congrats.
red/red is an interesting choice- it seems so obvious when I see yours which looks great, but its not a combo you see very often- shame, coz it's very nice ;)
