Does the system need a re-gas? My daughters air con (not a MINI) was poor until 8 had it re-gassed and then it worked fine.

The A/C on my 2011 Mini Countryman ALL4 Cooper S is, well, quite poor?
Is it normal? It is certainly working, no gremlins in the system (that I know of), but I have to have it on 17/18 to keep moderately cool and of course, the output is quite noisy.... in comparison to my BMW GT, which is very cool at 21 degrees with no noise....

Thanks, it had a re-gas when I had it serviced after buying it, 2 months ago. When I test drove it, there were some weird noises coming from the air con, wheezing and such, but the re-gas appeared to fix it.
Could it be a slow leak from somewhere in the system, or?
There are no weird noises, just isn't as effective as my other car, as mentioned....
